CORRECTED OPINION

PER CURIAM:

Byrd, appearing pro se, brought this civil action under 42 U.S.C. § 1983 (1982) alleging that law enforcement officers (Defendants Stewart and Harris) had unlawfully searched his home and seized some of his personal effects. Byrd does not contest his subsequent conviction on drug charges which arose shortly after this search. Byrd's sole claim before this court is for monetary damage caused by the deprivation of his property...
