Plaintiff in this wrongful death action is the personal representative of Robert Jaynes, who was killed when he drove his motorcycle into an unshielded guy wire attached to a utility pole. The wire is owned by defendant Pacific Northwest Bell (PNB), and the pole is owned by defendant Portland General Electric (PGE).
