NEWMAN, Judge.

Plaintiff appeals a summary judgment for defendant, her employer, in this action for sex discrimination. 42 U.S.C. § 2000 et seq (1982); ORS 659.030.1 When defendant terminated plaintiff's employment on November 13, 1981, as part of a general lay-off, plaintiff was pregnant. She became aware of her pregnancy a few weeks later. The baby was born more than three months after the termination.
