Mike Nieto, plaintiff in this dental malpractice action, appeals from a summary judgment entered in favor of defendant, Dr. Manuel Chavez. We reverse.

The allegations of plaintiff's complaint and the averments of the parties' summary judgment affidavits provide the following background. Plaintiff sought the services of defendant for reconstruction of a tooth that had been knocked out. His condition required the performance of root canal work...
