GULBRANDSON, Justice.

Ronald Enfinger appeals a Lake County jury verdict convicting him of mitigated deliberate homicide. He also appeals the Lake County District Court's action in designating him as a dangerous offender. The two issues on appeal are: (1) whether the District Court erred in instructing the jury on self-defense, and (2) whether the District Court improperly designated appellant as a dangerous offender.
