After a trial to a jury, the defendant was convicted of two counts of kidnapping in the first degree, a violation of General Statutes § 53a-92 (a) (2) (A), and two counts of sexual assault in the first degree, a violation of General Statutes § 53a-70 (a). From the judgment rendered following the verdicts, the defendant appeals, claiming that the trial court erred (1) by permitting the state's handwriting expert to testify as an alibi rebuttal...
