Defendant, Franklin Robinson, appeals from his conviction in the Franklin County Municipal Court of criminal trespass and resisting arrest and raises a single assignment of error as follows:

"The trial court erred when it held that the defendant was not entitled to subpoena a police officer's personnel file on the grounds that such records are privileged and not subject to subpoena thereby violating the defendant's constitutional rights to compulsory...
