ARMSTRONG, Judge.

The defendant, Willie Davis, was charged with a violation of LSA-R.S. 14:34, relative to the offense of aggravated battery. After trial, a six person jury found him guilty of second degree battery, a violation of LSA-R.S. 14:34.1. He subsequently admitted the allegations contained in the multiple bill which the state had filed charging him with being a triple offender. Both predicate offenses of this multiple bill were separate violations of LSA...
