Defendant, Gregory James Cahanin, appeals from a garnishment rendered against him to satisfy a judgment for past due child support. On December 20, 1985 plaintiff, Victoria Gallas Cahanin, was awarded an executory judgment for past due child support in the amount of $2,975.00 in addition to $500.00 in attorney fees and interest. A consent judgment for income assignment pursuant to La.R.S. 46:236.3 was also entered into authorizing defendant's employer...
