Plaintiff-appellant, Zack Kenley Nettles, Jr., brought suit against Winn-Dixie Louisiana, Inc. (Winn-Dixie) for personal injury damages resulting from plaintiff's slip and fall in defendant's store. At district court, the jury found Winn-Dixie liable, and found plaintiff 65% contributorily at fault in causing his own injuries. The trial judge therefore reduced the jury's finding of damages of $48,100.00...
