The widow and minor children of Paul Alonzo Smith brought this action for his wrongful death against defendant Rupert Green Knowles, Jr. The complaint invokes the admiralty jurisdiction of the Court, and alleges that on July 5, 1985, Smith was one of five guests aboard defendant Knowles' 17-foot motorboat when he jumped overboard to urinate and drowned.
