The sole issue in this case, here on appeal from an order of the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, is whether the court improperly limited the amount of prejudgment interest awarded to the prevailing plaintiff in a patent suit. The award of prejudgment interest was made pursuant to our remand in the earlier appeal in this case. Bio-Rad Laboratories, Inc. v. Nicolet Instrument Corp.,
