This civil action was brought by Branch Banking & Trust Company (BB & T) to recover compensatory damages from Columbian Peanut Company (Columbian) by reason of BB & T's failure to recover indebtedness due it from Larry K. Sorie and wife, Billie H. Sorie (Sories), which indebtedness was secured by a security interest in the Sories' peanut crop. BB & T sought recovery on four separate theories...
