LIVELY, Chief Judge.

This is an appeal from denial of a petition for a writ of habeas corpus. 28 U.S.C. § 2254 (1982). The petitioner was convicted in a Michigan court on two charges of armed robbery. The Michigan Court of Appeals reversed one conviction and affirmed the other. The matter was remanded to the trial court for entry of an unarmed robbery conviction in place of the one reversed. People v. Krist, 93 Mich.App. 425
