This appeal is taken from the Circuit Court of Madison County wherein Apprilla Van Buren was convicted of vote fraud under Miss. Code Ann. § 23-9-703 (Supp. 1985). She was sentenced to serve 2 years and 6 months with the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
