EDWARDS, Judge.

Defendant's appeal from a juvenile court1 judgment of conviction and sentence for criminal neglect of family was dismissed by this court as not appealable. Defendant now applies for a rehearing, contending the dismissal was in error because the matter is appealable under La. Const. Art. V, § 10(A)(2). We disagree.

La.Const. Art. V, § 10(A) provides
