Plaintiff was a tenant at an apartment house owned by defendants when she fell from a porch and was injured. She filed a petition seeking damages, contending that defendant was negligent in maintaining a railing on the porch. Plaintiff received a jury verdict for $70,000 and judgment was entered accordingly.
