The defendant was convicted by a jury of possession of less than four ounces of a cannabis-type substance, a violation of General Statutes § 21a-279 (c) and of the sale of a controlled substance, a violation of General Statutes § 21a-277 (b). The defendant was found not guilty of possession of a controlled substance with the intent to sell, a violation of General Statutes § 21a-277 (b).
