Plaintiffs filed suit seeking damages for the wrongful death of their daughter, and for injuries suffered by plaintiff, Roosevelt Joshua, Jr., as the result of a one-car accident. Made defendants therein were Clinton Fulton, the driver of the vehicle, and Uniroyal, Inc., the manufacturer of an allegedly defective tire.
