By bill of information, the district attorney charged defendant with unlawful possession of cocaine. A jury found defendant guilty of attempted possession of cocaine. The court found defendant to be a second felony offender and sentenced defendant under the provisions of La. R.S. 15:529.1 to serve three years at hard labor. Defendant appeals on the basis of two assignments of error. Finding merit in defendant's first assignment of error, we reverse...
