MURPHY, Justice.

Appellant was charged with the offense of involuntary manslaughter, to which he entered a plea of not guilty. Trial was by jury, and appellant was convicted of the offense of criminally negligent homicide. Punishment was assessed by the jury at one year's probation and a $2,000.00 fine.
