OPINION

HUGHES, Justice (Retired).

This is an involuntary mental health commitment case. Trial was to the jury which found appellant mentally ill. The jury further found that appellant, as a result of that mental illness, will, if not treated, continue to suffer severe and abnormal mental, emotional or physical distress and will continue to experience deterioration of his ability to function independently and is unable to make a rational and informed decision...
