Margaret and Benjamin Harrison were divorced from their marriage of thirty-three years in December 1978. The divorce decree incorporated and approved an agreement of the parties. In 1985, the husband filed a petition to modify, among other things, the part of the decree which required him to make monthly alimony payments to the wife.
