The appellant, a 17 year old, was arrested on January 24, 1985, and charged with being a juvenile delinquent, to-wit: "That on or about January 22, 1985, Samuel Eugene Taylor did intentionally cause the death of another person, Kammye Lytorcha Huey, by strangulation and/or beating her with a blunt instrument, in violation of Section 13A-6-2 of the Code of Alabama, against the peace and dignity of the State of Alabama...
