Co-Quina Oil Company contracted with Butler-Johnson, Inc. to drill an oil well in Bossier Parish. Co-Quina also contracted with Weatherford-Lamb, Inc. to run pipe casing in connection with the drilling operation. Matlock worked for Weatherford-Lamb as chief of the casing crew and Goodson was a crew member. Both were allegedly injured, while performing casing work, through the negligence of the driller's employees. As a result, this tort action...
