Jerry Steven Godbolt was indicted by a Jefferson County Grand Jury on two counts of first degree murder during a robbery, both capital offenses, the victims being Myra Faye Tucker and Wayne Tucker. The trial jury found him guilty as charged of the capital murder of Myra Faye Tucker, and recommended the death sentence. The court sentenced him to life imprisonment without parole.
