The plaintiff appeals from the judgment of dismissal of his action pursuant to Practice Book § 251 for failure to prosecute with reasonable diligence. The case began as a small claims action which the plaintiff brought for alleged violations of his civil rights pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983. Upon the defendant's motion, it was transferred to the regular docket, where the plaintiff filed an amended complaint in two counts spelling out in more detail...
