Iva Mae Sexton sued James E. Brownlee in trespass to try title alleging that Brownlee, her neighbor to the south, is in wrongful possession of a portion of her property. The controlling issue at trial was whether Shannon Creek, the boundary between the parties' properties, had changed its course to a more southerly location, leaving a portion of the land now claimed by Brownlee on the north side of the creek.
