The defendant, Gregory L. Means, pled guilty to armed robbery and to accessory after the fact of first degree murder. LSA-R.S. 14:64, 25. In exchange for these guilty pleas, the state dropped two other charges of accessory after the fact. On the charge of armed robbery, Means was sentenced to 25 years at hard labor without benefit of probation, parole or suspension of sentence.
