Defendant, Charlie Jackson, Jr., was charged by grand jury indictment with the second degree murder of Percy Tillotson, a violation of La.R.S. 14:30.1. Defendant pled not guilty and waived trial by jury. He was found guilty as charged and sentenced to life imprisonment without benefit of probation, parole, or suspension of sentence.
