David Lee Rothgeb was found guilty of the murders of his wife and daughter, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1111. The murders occurred while the family was on a canoe trip in the Ozark National Scenic Riverways.1 He was sentenced to life imprisonment for the first degree murder of his wife, April Rothgeb, and was sentenced to two hundred ten years...
