Chromalloy American Corporation provided medical benefits to the employees of its Kewanee Machinery Division. The benefits were funded by a trust and awarded under the terms of a detailed plan, an "employee welfare benefit plan" for purposes of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act, 29 U.S.C. § 1002(1)(A).
