In this case, we must decide whether § 302 of the Labor Management Relations Act ("LMRA") precludes an arbitrator from ordering an employer to reimburse a union for dues lost as a consequence of the employer's breach of a collective bargaining agreement. The District Court upheld such an arbitration award. We hold that the LMRA does not foreclose such an award...
