We granted certiorari to review the unpublished opinion of the Court of Appeals in People v. Walker, No. 84CA0751, June 20, 1985, in which the court vacated a sentence imposed by the trial court on the defendant, James Marlowe Walker, for his conviction of sexual assault on a child and remanded the case for sentencing within the presumptive range. We reverse and remand the case to the Court of Appeals with directions to reinstate the sentence...
