Plaintiff, Thomas R. Pounds, sued Roxie Lasater, Executrix of the Estate of William J. Pounds, to recover the proceeds of a certificate of deposit. Several estate beneficiaries were allowed to intervene as parties defendant, but their position in this controversy is identical to Lasater's so we will not refer to them separately.
