Defendant, Clay L. Pittman, appeals his conviction for distribution of cocaine in violation of LSA-R.S. 40:967 A.

On July 22, 1983, Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Deputy Timothy Oliver, an undercover narcotics officer, was introduced to the defendant by a confidential informant at an eating establishment in Franklinton, Louisiana.
