The Village of Maurice (hereafter Village) appeals an adverse judgment dismissing its petitory action against Harris and Brenda Desormeaux (hereafter Desormeauxes) on a motion for summary judgment. The Village initiated a petitory action against the Desormeauxes asserting ownership of a tract of land donated to the Village in 1922 for use as a public street.
