The State of Louisiana through the Department of Health and Human Resources brought this action against James D. Rice, pursuant to LSA-R.S. 46:236 et seq., to establish the paternity of the minor child born to Nyola Larkin. At trial, the state presented evidence to establish the paternity of the child.
