Burlington Industries appeals from the district court's judgment in favor of Charlene Monroe. After a bench trial, the district court found that Burlington failed to promote Monroe because of her race in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S.C. § 2000e et seq. and the Civil Rights Act of 1866, 42 U.S.C. § 1981.
