HUNT, Justice.

The appellant, Russell Woods, was charged by information with two counts of burglary, one count of escape, and one count of tampering with a witness. He pled not guilty. At trial by jury he was found guilty on all charges. The District Court designated him a dangerous offender and sentenced him to 20 years for each count of burglary, 10 years for tampering with a witness, and 6 months in jail for escape. The prison sentences were to run consecutively...
