After a trial to a jury, the defendant was found guilty of four counts of larceny in the second degree, a violation of General Statutes §§ 53a-119 (8) and 53a-123 (a) (1). In his appeal from the judgment rendered on the verdicts, the defendant claims the trial court erred in four respects: (1) in refusing to suppress the fruits of a search the police conducted of his garage; (2) in permitting the assistant state's attorney to make derogatory remarks...
