In November 1977 Hall leased commercial property on East 70th Street in Shreveport to Yarbrough's Pharmacy Inc. (Yarbrough's) for use as a retail pharmacy. The lease had a primary term of ten years commencing on May 1, 1978, and called for the payment of monthly rentals of $1,440 during the first five years. At the end of the first five-year period, the rent would increase to an amount calculated using a formula based upon the Consumer Price...
