From 1948 to 1981 plaintiff was an employee of Firestone Tire & Rubber Company ("Firestone"). From 1948 to 1954 he worked in sales in Richmond and Staunton, Virginia. In 1954, plaintiff transferred to Washington, D.C., first as a sales representative, and later as a legislative representative, following and reporting on legislative and regulatory matters of interest...
