Clarence Stone, Maui Plasterers, Inc., and Maui Plastering, Inc. (Stone) appeal a default judgment obtained by Hawaii Carpenters' Trust Funds (Trust Funds) against them for delinquent contributions to employee trust funds. The district court had required Stone to pay costs and attorney fees to Trust Funds as a condition of setting aside entry of default.
