In this personal injury action arising out of an automobile accident between appellant Lois Chan and respondent Joseph Katzenmeyer, now deceased, process named Katzenmeyer as defendant but was served on the personal representative of his estate. The trial court found that the pleadings could not be altered later to name the personal representative as defendant.
