Paul Rutledge, AKA Paul Rutledge, Sr., while aboard the defendant's vessel, the M/V PARAKEET, was allegedly injured while being transported across the Gulf of Mexico to a fixed offshore drilling platform. Rutledge sued the vessel owner, A & P Boat Rentals, Inc., under Fed.R.Civ.P. 9(h) claiming maritime negligence, unseaworthiness and Jones Act (46 U.S.C. § 688) negligence.
