Defendant has been charged with a thirty-nine (39) count indictment for violations to 18 U.S.C. Section 1341 (mail fraud), Section 287 (false claims) and Section 641 (conversion). The essence of the alleged criminal activity giving rise to the multi-count indictment is that defendant, a postal worker who as a result of an accident suffered while performing his duties as letter carrier became eligible to receive compensation...
