Knox Lumber Company and James Joseph Effenberger, a former Knox employee, appeal from a judgment awarding respondent Louis Altman $2,000 in compensatory damages and $10,000 in punitive damages. Altman had brought this action for assault and battery and false imprisonment. Appellants claim that the evidence fails to support the directed verdict entered by the trial court and the special verdicts returned by the jury. We disagree and...
