LABORDE, Judge.

Defendant, Wayne Davis, pleaded guilty to distribution of a Schedule II controlled dangerous substance and possession with intent to distribute a Schedule II controlled dangerous substance, in violation of LSA-R.S. 40:967A(1) and B(1). On June 30, 1986, defendant was sentenced to eight years at hard labor on each charge, sentences to run consecutively. He now appeals based on three assignments of error.
