Following a jury trial, defendant, Roosevelt Wilson, was convicted of attempted murder, armed violence based on attempted murder, and theft. Defendant was sentenced to 20 years' imprisonment for attempted murder and armed violence and 5 years' for theft, to be served concurrently, plus 3 years' mandatory supervision.
